Does this garter use metal clasps? The picture appears to show metal but a reviewer from 2015 says they are plastic.

BEST ANSWER: The sizes listed on this page are according to waiste size in inches. For example, if you have a 34" waiste, order size 34. The garment has three sets of eyelets for the hooks in the back (just like a bra) so there's a little leeway for a half inch this way or that.

BEST ANSWER: They are plastic, but better than most. Metal ones are still better and you can usually order them on line through Ebay. The belt itself is good quality.
