I ordered these shoes in size 7.5 M my regular size on all my shoes and these were so small, they looked like size 5.5 - had to send them back. The do run small. Even though I have had the same shoe in size 7.5M and they fit fine What is the problem in 2017?

BEST ANSWER: There is slight cushioning in the arch and overall cushioning in the insole. I find them very comfortable for a sandal and I receive compliments from total strangers on their look when I wear them.

BEST ANSWER: The heel is about 1/2 inch tall; the sole of the sandal, including the heel, is a soft, cushiony manmade material, which is very comfortable.
Does the insole stick to your feet if you get hot? I really prefer the microsuede insole ..is that what this is?
